VTOL DELIVERY DRONE
(Senior Design Capstone Project)
Our team of four designed and fabricated a vertical take-off and landing (VTOL) delivery drone as a senior design capstone project at San Francisco State University. The drone was designed surrounding a package dimension of 25cm long x 18cm wide x 8.5 cm height.
Works that I performed in the team:
- Materials selection
- Tail analysis and CAD modeling (H-tail with swept back) using OpenVsp and SolidWorks
- Bill of Materials
- 3D print of the wing and tail
Final report for the drone can be accessed here.
